Drawing circles in perspective
Circles are one of those things that can feel surprisingly difficult once they're placed in perspective. Rather than trying to draw an ellipse freehand, it's always helped me to first construct the square that contains it.
This simple construction method gives you clear reference points, making your ellipses more accurate and much easier to repeat consistently. It's a useful approach whether you're drawing wheels, hats, cups or any other circular object in perspective.
As with most perspective problems, spending a few extra seconds on construction usually leads to a much stronger drawing in the end.

Have I found the centre correctly?
