Course Overview Learn the basics of oil painting, from choosing materials to completing your first small painting. You’ll gain hands-on experience mixing colours, observing values, and building form in a structured, approachable way. What You’ll Learn Tools & Materials – Brushes, paints, surfaces, and safe setup. Toning, Values & Underpainting – Preparing your canvas and blocking in shapes. Colour & Simple Painting – Mixing colours, painting a small still life, finishing touches.
